Chris Blain

Chris Blain, Executive Chef at the Executive Mansion. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Chris Blain comes to the Mansion from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina where he served as Retail and Sustainability Manager. He trained at the Culinary Institute of America’s Hyde Park, NY campus and completed an internship at the acclaimed Herbfarm Restaurant in Woodinville, WA. Chris creates meals with local, seasonal foods which are influenced by traditional Virginia dishes as well as those he has picked up from traveling in the Pacific Northwest, Egypt, and Viet Nam.
